Toda Industries and Hagihara Industries from Japan demonstrated new product Barchip for reinforcing concrete instead of steel rods at Mega Warehouse, Song Than II Industrial Park, Di An district, Binh Duong province on Thursday morning 16th March, 2017.
We were honor to welcome the presence of representatives of well-known companies in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province such Hoang Lien Son Construction Co., Ltd, A.I.C Management Consultant Co., Ltd, Mekong Ready-Mix Concrete Co., Ltd and Hong Ha Beton JSC.
Introduction of Barchip
What is Barchip
Barchip is used for reinforcing concrete. Researched and developed with innovative and unique technologies of Hagihara Industries, Barchip features a lightweight, strong, corrosion-free and environment-friendly material.
In addition, its high adhesion offers a high bonding strength, toughness and excellent protection from concrete cracks.
Applications and economic efficiency of Barchip
Barchip is widely used in civil construction such as tunnels, bridges, roads and flooring slabs of hospitals, schools, warehouses, etc. Replacing steel rods in concrete with Barchip brings out higher economic efficiency by manpower saving, cost lowering and time saving.
Barchip has been applied in over 60 countries worldwide. In the near future, Toda Industries and Hagihara Industries will be launching this new product into Vietnam market.

On October 6, 2018, a signing ceremony for Ashita Wood Distributor Agreement was taken place at Ashita Wood factory – Toda Plastics Co., Ltd, no. 18A, street 24, VSIP II-A, Vinh Tan commune, Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province between Toda Industries Corporation and Molution Co., Ltd (Molution).
Previously in January, 2018, Toda Industries Corporation and Maxell, Ltd (Maxell) - Japan conducted a demonstration of waterproofing work with Butyl tape at Meito Vietnam's Mega Warehouse.
